What’s your return policy?
Must have the sales slip to get a refund
Cash refund must be on the same day as purchase
Must be within 30 days of purchase

Items sold by the piece, pound or bag are subject to a 25% restocking fee

Do you deliver?
Yes, we do deliver to Dublin, Pleasanton, San Ramon, Livermore, Castro Valley, Sunol, Alamo, Walnut Creek, Moraga, Black Hawk, Danville, and Freemont. Visit the delivery page for more information or call the store for additional questions.
How do you sell your material?
We sell our products gravels, soils, and small rocks by the yard, by the unit and by the bag. Our bigger rocks, boulders, and decorative rocks are sold by the pound or ton, and some in bags.
Can you deliver multiple products in one load?
Yes, we do have split bin trucks that can deliver multiple products. The amount and material can vary so contact us on the Contact us page, call us, or come into the store for more information.
Are you open 7 days a week?
We are open Monday-Saturday.
Are you open to the general public?
Yes, we are open to everyone including the public, contractors, and even businesses.
Do you sell products by the bag?
Yes, we do. They are 1 cubic foot bags which will cover 5.5 square feet 2 inches deep.
How many square feet does a cubic yard cover?
A cubic yard will cover 150 square feet 2 inches deep (typical depth), 300 square feet 1 inch deep, and 75 square feet 3 inches deep.
Do I need mulch or compost?
Mulch is decayed yard debris which prevents weeds and is a decorative or protective covering. It prevents loss of water, soil erosion, crusting of the soil surface, soil compaction, and growth of weeds. It aids in the cooler soil in summer, warmer soil in winter, more plant roots, and improves soil nutrients.
Compost is manure-based and is a fertilizer when mixed in the soil.
Do contractors get a discount?
Yes, with a valid contractors license, contractors do get a discount.
How much does a yard of gravel weigh?
It depends on the type of gravel, but typically they are going to be 2200 pounds to 2600 pounds.
How many pounds are in a ton?
There are 2000 lbs in 1 ton.
